EXCLUSIVE: Family-owned car dealership JCT600 has seen 56% of its 1,350 employees take up its online voluntary benefits scheme since it was introduced in February 2013.
The Just Rewards scheme, which is provided by Personal Group, is part of an ongoing initiative to give something back to employees.
Emma Cummins, secretary to the directors at JCT600, said: “Looking after our staff and rewarding their loyalty is part of our JCT600 core values.”
The organisation previosuly offered a series of standalone benefits including a group personal pension (GPP) plan, financial planning and advice, a health cash plan, eyecare discounts, motoring discounts, and childcare vouchers.
Cummins added: “Not all employees were making the most of the benefits they were entitled to, and we were also keen to improve the current offering by building on the existing benefits.”
The new scheme includes access to the existing benefits, alongside new benefits, such as online retail discounts, a bikes-for-work scheme and voluntary group income protection.
It was communicated via posters, which were put up on staff noticeboards. Employees were also offered one-to-one presentations with Personal Group in January and February.
Cummins added: “This was a good way to help employees understand what the benefits programme could do for them personally and also illustrated in detail how they could save money.”
