ITV has agreed to a 2.75% increase for all employees earning £60,000 and below for 2013.

Any increase for staff earning above £60,000 will be linked to their performance rating for 2012.

The broadcaster also awarded its chief executive, Adam Crozier, with a £3.8 million remuneration package comprising base salary and share awards in 2012. Crozier received a base salary of £818,206 for 2012, an increase from £797,750 in 2011.

ITV’s Annual report 2012 also revealed that:

  • Crozier received cash in lieu of pension contributions of £73,638 in 2012; share awards worth £1.636 million in 2012; £19,000 in benefits in kind for 2012, including private medical insurance (PMI); and a £1.375 million bonus for 2012.
  • Group finance director Ian Griffiths received a base salary of £448,694 in 2012, an increase from £437,476 in 2011; cash in lieu of pension contributions of £67,304 in 2012; share awards worth £673,041 in 2012; £14,000-worth in benefits in kind for 2012; and a £683,000 bonus for 2012.

The broadcaster’s executive directors also received a salary increase of 2.75% from 1 January 2013.

Andy Haste, chairman of ITV’s remuneration committee, said: “We believe that the current incentive arrangements support the organisation’s transformation plan.”
