Towry Law switches pensions provider

Towry Law has switched its pensions provider from Axa to Zurich and launched a new group personal pension (GPP) plan.

Richard Higginson, head of reward, said: “Our previous provider was struggling with our demands. Also, we provide investment solutions that we wanted to extend to staff, and we can only do that with a small number of providers.”

The company’s new arrangement allows employees’ funds to be put on Zurich’s platform and the pension scheme will be managed by Towry Law’s in-house investment managers.

The GPP has had a 99% take-up among the firm’s 500 staff.
