Computershare Voucher Services (CVS) has partnered Salary Exchange to offer supplementary voluntary benefits to its employer clients.
Computershare Salary Extras was created in response to employers repeatedly asking CVS for extra benefits to support their employees.
The new benefits are designed to be available via salary sacrifice arrangements.
From 1 March 2013, the CVS website, call centre and UK-wide sales network now offers the following services:
- Emergency childcare.
- A bikes-for-work scheme.
- Discounts on computers and mobile phones.
- A holiday purchase scheme.
- Online discounts scheme.
- Pre-paid credit card discounts at more than 40 high street shops.
- Discounted gym memberships.
Julian Foster, managing director of CVS, said: “It’s hard for almost any organisation to offer staff the sort of pay rises they deserve in hard times like these and this is an efficient way to help solve that problem.”
He added that supplementary benefits have been on his agenda since joining CVS two years ago, and that he considered building a delivery system from scratch.
He said: “That was a viable possibility, but fundamentally if there was something out there that ticked all our boxes, would we spend time building something that exists?”
