IPC Media has run a series of health and wealth management sessions for its 1,800 staff to help them improve their wellbeing and better manage their finances.

Over the course of a two-week period, the media firm's health and financial benefits providers ran seven on-site workshops for employees and manned stands in communal areas so that staff could discuss any issues they had.

Healthcare providers delivered presentations on nutrition and sleep management, while the financial workshops covered issues such as investment choice in relation to the company pension scheme and mortgage advice.

The company's pension provider, Fidelity, ran the pension workshops. Yoga and pilates classes were also run free of charge throughout the two-week period.

Ashley Bestwick, reward manager at IPC Media, said: "We want to improve wellbeing and improve the take-up rates of our health benefits, and while there are pockets of staff that are aware of the schemes on offer, there are other areas where our communication could be improved."
