The media organisation will offer staff a medical referral and consultation service, provided by occupational health provider Work Doctors.

Employees will also receive an annual flu jab to help them take preventative action against seasonal viruses.

The launch of the occupational health service is aimed at helping the organisation to provide support and advice that is relevant to its employees’ specific healthcare needs.

This will be provided in the form of phone, email and face-to-face meetings, as well as medical assessments and reports.

Brad Bennett (pictured, right), group reward and benefits manager at IOP Publishing, said: “First and foremost, our key concern is for the health and wellbeing of our employees.

“Work Doctors helps us to identify and resolve any health-related issues, which benefits both our employees and our organisation.

“Having a healthy and fit workforce will ultimately help the productivity of the organisation and, so far, employee feedback has been great.”
