An increasing number of benefits managers have a global or EMEA remit, so this event aims to bring together benefits managers (both new and experienced) with benefits remits outside the UK to network, exchange idea and learn from experts.
This 1-day event will focus entirely on international benefits. You will hear real life case studies from other employers and take part in practical workshops with leading international service providers.

Summary

  • Attendance is FREE but is only open to international/EMEA reward and benefits managers with responsibility for making decisions on the reward packages of at least 500 staff outside the UK and are from organisations with at least 1,000 permanent staff globally. Due to limited space we are only able to accept one delegate per organisation.

    Pulling together a reward strategy on a global basis throws up a number of key challenges – should you have a single global strategy or allow local offices to maximise local conditions? This session will cover the key questions the international benefits managers should be asking themselves and explore some of the key strategies that multinationals have used.

    This session explores how employers can go about sourcing benefits providers in other countries. It will look at using your UK providers elsewhere as well as sourcing providers from scratch in new territories. Should you use a consultant to help you, or can you do it yourself? How can you check quality standards and contracts?

    Taking total reward global

    • The concept of personalised, total reward communication is catching on globally. For multinational employers there is a developing opportunity to connect strategic communication with personalised data. This workshop explores how one leading European multinational successfully implemented a total reward statement across 39 countries and a dozen languages. Key challenges included: how to define strategy, define ‘total reward’, solicit local input and source data and develop.
