Hartlepool Housing has launched an employer-paid cash plan for its 310 employees.

The social landlord, which manages more than 7,000 properties in Hartlepool, introduced the plan to help its staff remain healthy in order to support strong customer service levels. The LHF-provided cash plan allows staff to claim money back towards the cost of treatments such as dental and optical checks, physiotherapy, chiropody, and complementary therapies including reflexology, acupuncture and homeopathy.

Kay Taylor, head of human resources, said : "Our employees are our most valuable resource and their hard work is vital in helping the organisation reach its goals. By introducing the LHF health plan, we are able to ensure that our employees remain healthy and well."
