Getronics UK has enhanced its flexible benefits provision to better meet the needs of employees and its own corporate requirements following a business merger in 2005 and ongoing Transfer of Undertaking (Protection of Employment) (Tupe) obligations.
The communication technology firm introduced a range of new benefits including carbon offsetting through the Woodland Trust, childcare vouchers and a prepaid discount card staff can use to receive a discount at various retailers.
The scheme, which was delivered by Aon Consulting, was improved in order to increase staff choice, improve convenience, enhance financial saving for employees and support corporate social responsibility.
Anthea Cassano, compensation and benefits manager at Getronics UK, said: "We are especially pleased to offer the Woodland Trust benefit, which will help employees offset their carbon footprint."
