General and Medical forms new healthcare trust organisation

General and Medical has merged its healthcare trust organisation ProAmica with recent acquisition Revelation Healthcare.

Every new healthcare trust launched under the ProAmica Trust brand will benefit from free and immediate access to employee assistance. This is supported by an online health and wellbeing service which offers access to a range of information and support programmes.

New trusts will also receive management fees fixed at 2010 rates for three years and substantial discounts during the first two years.

David Wildman, managing director at General and Medical, said: “Bringing both trust businesses together under the ProAmica brand was the natural progression for us after successfully integrating the Revelation business into the group.

“It reinforces our foothold in the healthcare trust market and maximises our ability to contain costs for our trust clients now that all hospital contract management has been brought under the General and Medical umbrella.”
