Foster Denovo has introduced an employee assistance programme and an online benefits portal following its split from the Tenet Group in August.

The independent financial advice firm has also switched pension providers so that Friends Provident will supply a group personal pension for staff. The firm will match employee pension contributions where staff pay between 3% and 7.5% of their salary into the scheme.

Foster Denovo has also put in place new income protection and life assurance policies so staff can continue to receive the benefits.

The perks have been communicated to staff via email, letters and flyers left on desks.

Staff were also offered individual face-to-face meetings with the benefits providers.

Leigh Johnstone, director of partnership services, said: "One of the most important [goals] for us was to raise the profile of the benefits provided and to increase our return on investment."

The benefits were communicated to employees with the help of advisers Secondsight.
