Something for the weekend…

FIGC-FootballKit-620x375-2014

Imagine how your stress levels would fall if, whenever your anxiety levels rise, your clothes could give you an all-over relaxing body massage?

This might not be as far-fetched as it sounds.

News broke this week that high-tech football shirts worn by the Italian national football team, ahead of their participation in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, can deliver ‘micro-massages’ to players during the game.

The new kit maximises muscle power and allows the body to recover from exertion quicker.

Perhaps shirtmakers could partner with employee benefits providers to consider something similar to help reduce stress in UK workplaces.

Although the bad news is that after wearing these shirts for the first time at Wednesday evening’s friendly football match against Spain, the Italians lost 0-1. That would not have done wonders for stress levels.

So Employee Benefits is now less concerened that the shirts will give Italy a numerical advantage against England in the World Cup.
