Travel provider Expedia has relaunched its payroll giving scheme after recent world events.

Since the scheme was relaunched on 15 January, staff at Expedia's Covent Garden office have pledged more than £6,500 to 55 charities including Oxfam, and various charities working in Haiti after last month's earthquake.
Mirka Virtanen, EMEA benefits manager at Expedia, said: "There is a good mix of international and domestic charities."

During the launch, staff were visited by provider Workplace Giving UK, which will also visit Expedia's other London-based businesses, corporate travel firm Egencia and holiday review service TripAdvisor to promote the plan.
