Lifestyle Services Group (LSG) has launched a flexible benefits scheme for its senior employees following a talent management review.
Following the review, the firm’s management population was adjusted from 150 to 50 employees. The review also determined what proportion of the £1-million benefits spend to allocate to these senior staff and what proportion to allocate to the other 1,150 employees.
Michael Carter, head of HR at LSG, said: “We wanted to introduce a new management-grading structure and look at the employee benefits on the back of it. Ultimately, the reason for the benefits review was for us to streamline our proposition.”
The senior staff are allocated a pot of cash, known as Flexicash, which can be used to buy a series of different benefits or can be taken as a salary supplement.
Benefit options available via flex are: a company car scheme, childcare vouchers, holiday purchase, pension contributions, private medical insurance (PMI), and life assurance.
