British Telecom (BT) has increased take-up of its voluntary benefits scheme to 94%.
The scheme was relaunched on 2 February as part of its 2nd anniversary. Since its 2010 launch the Benefits Plus scheme, provided by Next Jump, has had over 71,500 (94%) of employees register and savings have totaled over £3,450,000.
Clare Creegan, benefits manager at BT, said: “At launch week in 2010 we had just 47% of employees registered. We still try to capture those that have not registered with mailers and through our internal newsletter.”
Communications around the two-year anniversary included an article in the internal newsletter, BT Today, and a banner on the intranet homepage.
The scheme is open to all 76,000 UK staff, as well as 300,000 BT pensioners.
