Employee health and wellbeing along with pensions and retirement have been dominant issues in the HR press for at least five years. Many employers have implemented wellbeing plans and many report good results. In light of this it would be reasonable to assume that employee wellness is improving. However, the data suggests a different picture. In order to assess the significance of health in today’s workplace we have reviewed global, regional and national data and scrutinised detailed claims sources from our own client base.
