Euan Hutchinson's global role at Skype

Euan Hutchinson has been appointed global head of reward and human resources operations at Skype.

He joined Skype on an interim basis in November 2009 after more than eight years as head of reward for Europe, Middle East and Asia at Hewlett Packard. Previously, Hutchinson was manager of human capital services at Arthur Andersen and has also worked on tax matters at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Following Skype's separation from Ebay last year, Hutchinson said he saw his new role as one of starting from scratch by "setting up a total rewards framework, processes and tools, as well as operation capabilities as a standalone company".
