Ernst & Young has recorded an increase in the take-up of its flexible benefits scheme, after changing provider and setting up its own benefits helpdesk in-house.

The accountancy firm has seen take-up rise from 66% to 74% since making the change in November. It thinks this could be because employees are more willing to approach colleagues with benefit queries as opposed to a third party provider.

The flex scheme, which is now provided by Vebnet, includes perks such as the opportunity to buy and sell holiday, travel and dental insurance and a stakeholder pension scheme.
