Ernst & Young has begun designing a health website in order to provide its 114,000 employees with a single source of information around health and wellbeing perks.

The website, branded Energy, will include details of the company's existing employee assistance programme, gym membership scheme, and health assessment programme, as well as providing nutritional advice.

Matthew Thomas, employee relations manager, said: "We want to develop a site [to] get the importance of health across to staff, and get them engaged."

The company will also be able to extract statistics on benefits take up from the website, which will form part of its intranet. Energy should be available for staff to view by the end of this month.
