The majority of employees in Britain do not know if their employer provides them with life insurance, according to a study released by Aon Consulting. Out of the 1,300 respondents to Aon Consulting's Benefits Survey 2008, released in August, 77% said they were not provided with life insurance or did not know that the benefit was offered. This is despite the fact that 40% of British employees are covered through a policy organised by their employer.
