Successful finalists in the Employee Benefits Awards 2015 demonstrated a connection between managing wellbeing and delivering tangible performance improvements at the organisational level, said Daryl Maitland, senior HR manager at Cafcass, in an interview with Robert Crawford, reporter at Employee Benefits.
He added that the standout entries were very clear about the corporate wellness agenda, and described why the topic of the quantified self and wearable technology has bought measurable metrics to employee wellbeing initiatives.
“There is a big demand for organisations to step up the corporate wellness agenda. As employers, we now have an opportunity to measure the impacts of putting resources in place for employee wellbeing, we can use this evidence and demonstrate it at executive board level.”
He added that winning the Best healthcare and wellbeing benefits – large employer award last year, has done wonders for Cafcass.
The 2015 winners will be announced during a lunch-time ceremony at the Artillery Garden at the HAC, London, on 12 June.
