IT consultancy CSC has launched a voluntary benefits scheme to its UK staff, along with an online discussion group through which employees can engage directly with HR about the new system.

CSC, which has 93,000 staff in 80 countries, has offered its US staff voluntary benefits, provided by Next Jump, for several years, and was keen to include its 7,500 UK employees.†

Robert Prince, compensation and benefits administrator at CSC, said: “The discussion group is called C3: connect, communicate and collaborate. It encourages open communications about the site, and allows us to respond quickly to any issues.”

The new scheme replaces a smaller plan that was seen as outdated. Since the new scheme began in July, take-up has risen to 65% among CSC’s UK staff. It includes limited-time and fixed offers, reloadable gift cards, cashback
points and discounts at high-street stores.†

Prince said: “It changes every week. Right now, there is a back-to school event, with offers for computers, clothing and sportswear."
