Countrywide has introduced a health cash plan, bikes for work, payroll giving, and online discount scheme for its 9,500 staff.

The health cash plans, offered on a voluntary basis, are aimed at making Countrywide’s range of health benefits more flexible. Marie Jay, head of strategic HR, said: “If staff had private medical insurance, they might not use it frequently, but the cash plans include routine healthcare and means something for everyone.”

Countrywide is also supporting two charities in 2011, Shelter and the Bobby Moore Cancer Fund, to raise its corporate social responsibility profile.

Meanwhile, its online discount scheme, provided by Next Jump, offers discounts at a range of high street retailers
