Computacenter is to roll out its staff recognition programme to its 250 employees in South Africa based on the programme’s success with its 4,000 UK-based staff.
Its Excellence in Action scheme, which is provided by incentive and motivation firm AYMTM, was launched via an online communication platform which delivers rewards to staff.
The awards on offer include personalised cards between colleagues to a more formal thank-you from line managers, including reward points onto their reward point accounts.
At the highest level of recognition are the company awards, where colleagues and managers can nominate individuals or teams that achieved the organisation’s goals.
The online platform will also host Computacenter’s long-service awards, generating automatic reward points and certificates to staff on their employment anniversaries and alerting line managers to deliver the reward.
Natalie Gunson, managing director at AYMTM, said: “As a fast-developing nation with many corporate structures taking example from UK companies, we hope to be able to specify more programmes geared to motivate and incentive South African employees.”
