City and Guilds has held a wellbeing day to raise staff awareness of its benefits.

The event, held at its London office, showcased perks and enabled staff to talk with providers about schemes such as income protection and dental insurance.

A kiosk was provided for health checks and the most popular activity was cholesterol and glucose testing, run by Incorpore and Nuffield Health.

City and Guilds realised the need to communicate its health benefits better after a survey showed a drop in perception of how it looked after staff wellbeing.

Chris Coyne, group head of reward, said: “We were looking to reinforce what we felt was a good package for wellbeing."
