Something for the weekend: Li Jinyuan, president of Chinese multi-national organisation Tiens Group, is treating 2,500 employees to a holiday in Spain to mark the group’s 21st anniversary.

Employees landed in the country’s capital on 4 May on board 20 aeroplanes, and will make their way to Barcelona on Sunday before heading home.

The itinerary for the trip features a number of cultural and gastronomic highlights, including a visit to the Palacio Real in Madrid and an event at the Moralzarzal bullring, complete with a traditional horse show and flamenco performance.

The organisation is investing more than €7m (£5.5m) in the trip for its staff, including the hire of 70 coaches, four trains, and 1,650 hotel rooms.

It's safe to say that the Employee Benefits team is rather jealous...
