Capital One, Cisco UK, Goodman Masson and McDonald’s Restaurants are among the organisations that have been named as 2016 UK Best Workplaces by the Great Place to Work Institute.
The Best Workplaces list is based on an employee engagement survey and an independent workplace culture audit, which looks at HR and management policies.
A number of organisations entered the UK Best Workpklaces list for the first time this year, including Mars UK, Adobe Systems Europe, Wellcome Trust and RHP Group.
The organisations were recognised at an awards ceremony on 27 April. Awards were also presented to employers that excelled in leadership, wellbeing, corporate social responsibility and employee voice.
