Brakes Group has launched a communications drive to increase awareness of perks among its 7,000 UK employees.
This includes a benefits website that can be accessed externally by staff who cannot log onto the intranet at work for information on perks. Employees have also been sent The Little Book of Benefits, detailing perks on offer.
The company’s continuing engagement drive will also involve presentations at all its sites by provider Personal Group.
Sue Beale, HR administrator, said: “We felt there was a lot of things that employees just weren’t aware of, so we wanted to take a more proactive approach to communicating the benefits.”
Brakes staff already have access to the perks via the company-branded intranet, which gives details of the benefits on offer, including salary sacrifice options for childcare vouchers and charitable donations, and a healthcare cash plan, via salary deduction.
The company’s benefits package also gives employees access to discounts on theatre trips, holidays, hotels and retail outlets.
