EXCLUSIVE: BMW is to launch new total reward statements and send them to more staff than in previous years.
In 2011, the car manufacturer sent statements to staff in its sales arm, BMW UK, to raise awareness of the benefits they receive.
In 2012, statements will also be sent to 1,000 employees including those in sales, financial services and in Ireland.
BMW will reduce the complexity of statements by cutting the volume of information and personalising details to individuals.
Adam Lupton, general manager human resources at BMW, said: “Last year there was probably a bit too much information in the document, so some key messages were lost, you could argue.”
The statements, developed with Benefex, will be sent out in September or October.
