Last month, Benfield launched a bikes-for-work scheme, before starting to implement auto-enrolment for its group personal pension (GPP).

The bike scheme replaces Benfield's previous home computing scheme, and is intended to give staff an alternative to public transport. It also supports the firm's environmental aims. James Harwood, compensation and benefits manager, said: "We are keen on the environmental angle, and have a social responsibility department we are always looking to strengthen."
