Chemical company BASF has launched a communications campaign to increase staff engagement with its UK-based pension schemes.

The pension schemes have nearly 12,000 members, including pensioners, deferred and active members, all in very different job types and based at 18 sites.

The communications campaign is with Shilling Communication.

Lynne Rawcliffe, scheme pension manager at BASF UK, said: “Shilling Communication was able to demonstrate flexibility in their communication offering.”

Katie Frost, director of Shilling Communication, added: “Educating employees about pensions, in a way that is bespoke and personal to their circumstances, is vital if the country is to prevent individuals from having insufficient savings to be able to retire.”
