Barclays Corporate and Employer Solutions appoints Katharine Photiou head of workplace savings

Barclays Corporate and Employer Solutions has appointed Katharine Photiou head of workplace savings.

Photiou, who has 20 years of experience in the employee benefits industry, joined from Mercer, where she was responsible for building its workplace savings platform.

She has also worked in a number of senior roles at Friends Provident.

Richard Phelps, managing director at Barclays Corporate and Employer Solutions, said: “Photiou’s decision to join the team is a significant boost to our plans in the workplace savings arena and accelerates our ability to reach our goal of being a major provider in this space.”
