Credit management firm Atradius is to add experience days and private medical insurance (PMI) to its voluntary benefits scheme in March.

The scheme has been structured so that staff can only select some benefits, such as PMI, during an annual election period, which will take place in March, before employees' choices come into effect in April. The firm was unable to include PMI in the scheme when it was launched in October 2008, as an existing 12-month long contract was in place for the perk, which does not expire until April this year.

Other perks within the scheme, including the vouchers for experience days, can be purchased at any time throughout the year. From March, employees will be able to purchase the vouchers at a discounted rate of 15%, which can then be used to buy experiences.

The scheme is provided by Benefex.
