Animal Health Trust will bundle together its pension and life assurance benefits to reduce management costs.

Its adviser, Creative Benefits will provide the animal charity with advisory and consultancy services for the bundled scheme, provided by insurance firm Aviva.

Animal Health Trust previously closed its defined benefit (DB) pension scheme to future accrual and restructured its group personal pension (GPP) plan to control costs and liabilities.

As part of the exercise, also advised by Creative Benefits, a salary sacrifice arrangement was introduced and employees received one-to-one financial advice and guidance.

Andrea Wilkinson, head of human resources at Animal Health Trust, said: “Having established a strong relationship during our previous work with Creative Benefits, we had no doubt we wanted to extend our relationship with them.”
