Age UK has been awarded the Pension Quality Mark for its defined contribution (DC) pension scheme which covers 1,050 of the charity’s employees.

The mark was established by the National Association of Pension Funds in 2009 to acknowledge employers which provide good-quality DC staff pensions. To date, 157 organisations have been awarded a Pension Quality Mark.

Jane Vass, head of policy at Age UK, said: “It is more important than ever for people to plan for their future, and offering a good pension is a vital step in helping our staff prepare for what is ahead.”
