Barclays Corporate and Employer Solutions (C&ES) has launched its global shares and reward services.
The formal launch follows the announcement at the end of 2012 that Barclays C&ES had signed an agreement with Solium Capital to create a version of its Solium Shareworks platform and administration services.
At the same time, Barclays Group also announced that it had appointed Barclays C&ES as administrator of its own global equity and long-term incentive plans, enabling employees to benefit from the service.
Richard Phelps, head of Barclays C&ES (pictured), said: “Incorporating the Solium Shareworks administration platform has been a significant boost to our global [shares] and reward services offering, and enables C&ES to provide a fully integrated and globally-administered platform with the aim of helping [employers] to recruit, retain and reward employees.
