Barclays is carrying out an internal review of its employee benefits consultancy business Barclays Corporate and Employer Solutions.
The bank launched the benefits arm in 2011 and will continue to service its existing employer clients, which will see no change as a result of the review.
No date has currently been set for an announcement on the outcome of the review.
The organisation’s employer clients includes Cancer Research UK, LSL Property Services and Anglian Water.
According to Employee Benefits’ sister publication Corporate Adviser, the business in the midst of a consultation process and is in discussion with trades union Unite.
A Barclays spokesperson said: “Putting our clients’ needs first is a priority and we constantly review ways in which the business is structured for their needs.
“We cannot discuss further details at this stage but there will be no changes for our clients which we will continue to service.”
