Santander evolves reward offering and people brand


Santander is evolving its reward offering for employees. 

Elliot Rees-Davies (pictured), reward director at Santander, will discuss how the bank has evolved its flexible benefits package over the past two years and its new internal people brand in a session titled ‘Flexible benefits to drive employee engagement’ at Employee Benefits Live on 25 September.

“An internal branding is something most people won’t be familiar with, and it differs from Santander’s external branding,” said Rees-Davies.

”We have also built around our flexible benefits and I will go over how that’s evolved over the past 12 months and the progress made in our career development.”

Going forward, the high-street bank plans to focus on talent management and its links to career development.

Rees-Davies added: “We want to go to the next level of maturity, and evolve as an organisation while also developing the HR function.”

Employee Benefits Live 2014 will take place on 24 and 25 September at Olympia National in London.
