Asperity launches voluntary plan

Employee discount provider Asperity Employee Benefits has launched an online voluntary benefits scheme called Reward Gateway.

The package offers employees access to discounted products from 1,200 retailers, alongside a cash-back service, which enables employees to earn varying amounts of money depending on how much they spend and at which retailers.

This cash is then either paid to individuals by cheque or put directly into their bank account. Staff can also request that the cash is donated to their employer’s charity of choice.

The cost of the service will vary depending on the size of an organisation. As a guide, employers with less than 1,000 staff can expect to pay £5 per employee per year.

Employers can also include their organisation’s existing perks on the platform so staff can access details of all their benefits via one site.

Glenn Elliot, director at Asperity Employee Benefits, claimed the product offers more choice than other voluntary benefit schemes. “Most of our rivals look only to arrange single employee discounts deals in a category.”
