Communications and infrastructure provider BAI Communications has announced it has appointed Alison Perren as its new group chief people officer.
Having previously held senior HR roles at the likes of Yum! Brands, PepsiCo and the Ford Motor Company, Perren has had responsibility for people strategies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the Americas and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
Perren has also worked for four years at Vodafone (rising to HR director, Europe, and then HR director, group commercial operations), and at global marketing ad communications services company, Williams Lea Tag, where she was group chief HR officer.
Commenting on her appointment, Perren said: “My new role comes at an incredibly exciting time for the company and the industry. It is fantastic opportunity to help shape BAI’s success as it expands its reach across a number of key markets.”
She added that the company is “on a path to reshape its global business”.
In welcoming Perren, BAI Group CEO Igor Leprince said: “Alison is a world-class, commercially-oriented executive with significant experience in all facets of HR and a brilliant track record of making a positive impact to the business. Her multi-industry expertise managing people and transformations across different markets will help us to create a culture that draws in the best minds and talent in our sector.”
He added: “Alison also has valuable experience in team integration as a result of company transactions, which fits well with our ambitious growth plans for the next few years, as we prepare for strategic acquisitions.”
Perren officially joins on 12 April.
