Stint launches unlimited holiday and hybrid work model

Student workforce app Stint has introduced unlimited holiday for all of its 150 employees, as well as setting up a hybrid working model that allows staff to decide where they work best.

Headquartered in Camden, London, the business has adapted its official HR policy to establish flexible working hours, which will see meetings and team-focused activities scheduled between 10am and 5pm from Monday to Friday.

According to Stint, these policies aim to put flexibility at the forefront of its employee experience, and enable its team to prioritise a healthy work-life balance.

The business has also highlighted its desire to implement a cohesive model in order to give its entire workforce the freedom to work in a way that best suits them, reflecting its business offering, which enables students to fit work at hospitality venues around their university timetable.

Grace Redmayne, head of people at Stint, said: “The Stint team is full of dedicated, passionate individuals who work hard to make the lives of students and hospitality operators easier. It’s important that we value our employees and take into consideration the ways in which each person works best, and we’ve found that by providing our team with these benefits, we can still get the most out of our teams whilst enabling them to focus on their wellbeing, both in and outside the office.”

Sam Schlagman, co-founder and chief executive officer at Stint, added: “As many businesses have found coming out of the pandemic, flexibility forms a key part of the future of work. We’ve learnt that people thrive in an environment where they are able to adapt their work to their needs, and at Stint we want to ensure that our teams’ needs are being heard and prioritised. We hope that these policies will positively impact our people, just as it helps the students we work with.”
