Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM UK has appointed Dan Thompson as its new people partner in order to strengthen and lead its national talent team.
In his new role, Thompson will help to shape the people team at the firm’s long-term growth programme to strengthen recruitment, develop its people brand while investing in key technology to support its digital future.
He joins RSM UK from a HR director role at construction firm ISG and has more than 20 years of HR experience working at a range of businesses, including Marks and Spencer, UK Civil Service and Countrywide. He also sits on the senior remuneration committee for the National Trust.
Thompson said: “RSM offered a different culture from other professional service organisations I’ve experienced. It’s dynamic, forward-thinking, friendly and has a real passion for people. It’s ambitious, but harnesses the human touch, and there is a huge amount of scope to make an impact.”
