Riviera Partners names chief people officer

Riviera PartnersRiviera Partners, an executive search firm for engineering, product, and design roles, has appointed Decio Mendes (pictured) as its new chief people officer.

Mendes will lead Riviera’s people and culture strategy in the form of organisational development, talent management and training, and global employee experience.

He joined from FLYN, a corporate development firm that he co-founded, which supports clients in developing HR strategies, leadership development and talent management programmes, and employee engagement approaches.

Mendes has 20 years of experience working with senior management teams across a range of industries, including three global management consulting firms.

Mendes said: “My passion is people and unearthing the best in each and all. As we embark on a new year, there’s no better time to focus on building a resilient, diverse, and healthy foundation that will cultivate an effective, tight-knit culture across Riviera’s globally distributed workforce.”
