Mendix names new chief people officer

Mendix chief people officer Low-code application development platform and Siemens business Mendix has appointed Astrid Lausberg chief people officer.

Previously head of HR operations and HR for product and technology, Lausberg has joined the C-suite leadership team and replaced Lara Pyko, who will become head of human resources at Siemens Austria.

She will be working closely with Mia Ellis, global head of diversity, equity and inclusion, and Cristina Samaniri, head of social impact, to ensure diversity, equity and inclusion and corporate social responsibility strategies become a holistic part of all Mendix’s activities and processes.

As chief people officer, she will continue building an employee-centric organisation that welcomes open communication, encourages feedback, provides psychological safety, and inspires innovation, as well as drive tangible, measurable value that is both qualitative and quantitative. The aim is that the personalised approach, and greater engagement, productivity and performance will support Mendix’s growth.

Based in the Netherlands, Lausberg has more than 15 years of experience in HR. Since joining the organisation in 2020, she has established herself as a trusted advisor for people and a champion of employee engagement.
