Lovewell’s logic: Time to celebrate

Debbie Lovewell Tuck Editor Employee BenefitsToday (Friday 14 June) sees one of my favourite events of the year take place: the Employee Benefits Awards and Summer Party.

Even though it feels like summer is yet to truly arrive this year, I’m looking forward to the opportunity to celebrate the fantastic work and achievements of so many employers. Throughout the year, we cover a number of the outstanding and innovative initiatives put in place by employers, so I’m looking forward to celebrating some of these and seeing them gain the recognition they deserve.

Every year, there is always vigorous debate among our highly experienced panel of judges to determine the winners from so many worthy entries. This year we received a high number of exceptional entries from a wide range of organisations. During a hugely challenging couple of years, employers have continued to innovate, evolving their reward packages to consistently support staff and produce industry-leading results.

Of course, while the awards are the reason for us all to come together, the day is also about networking and making connections. I, for one, am looking forward to meeting, and catching up with, some of you there. With remote and hybrid working now firmly established in so many organisations, having the opportunity to come together and gather in person now like a real treat.

You can follow all the action from the day on X (formerly Twitter) at @EmployeeBenefit and by following #EBAwards24. Details of all the winners, along with the reasons they were selected, will be published on employeebenefits.co.uk early next week.
