PSA Peugeot Citroën introduces online monthly pension updates for pensioners

PSA Peugeot Citroen has launched online monthly updates for pensioners as part of efforts to reduce costs and protect the environment.

The car manufacturer’s online updates and accompanying website, are provided by Shilling Communication. Data can be loaded onto the website every month, and pensioners only have access to information that is relevant for them. The updates work in the same way as payslips, highlighting how much pension has been paid and tax that has been taken.

PSA Peugeot Citroen, which issues more than 150,000 pension updates each year in the UK, was keen to reduce the costs associated with printing and mailing the statements, without compromising on the service provided to pensioners.

Oliver Polson, pensions operations manager at PSA Peugeot Citroen: “From a pensions point of view, our priority area of focus was the development of an online pension [update] facility to allow our pensioner population to access their [updates] electronically. For us, it was essential that the website was very user friendly, secure and easy to navigate.”
