Software firm Gamban has received platinum accreditation from Investors in People.
It received the accreditation due to the passionate influence, purpose and ambition of its senior leadership, who staff stated that they find motivating, inspirational and trustworthy.
Its organisational values were found to be well embedded, it embraced change in all aspects to develop a culture of innovation where employees are comfortable suggesting ideas as well as challenging each other professionally, and it allows staff to work overseas through its autonomous and flexible-working strategies.
Investors in People’s ‘we invest in people’ accreditation assesses employers’ framework in leading, supporting and improving the experience for employees. It looks at how policies, practices, values and behaviours support workforces, how employers manage, reward and recognise high performance, and how they create sustainable success.

Platinum accreditation, which is the highest level, is awarded to employers which ensure employees at all levels know they have a part to play in the business succeeding and are always looking for ways to improve.
Jack Symons, chief executive officer (CEO) of Gamban, said: “As directors in a mission-driven organisation, we are delighted to accept the platinum accreditation. Gamban exists for our users, but given we are a commercial organisation we also have to ensure there are standards in place that reflect our responsibilities to our staff and to society. Along with being designated a B-Corp, the ‘we invest in people’ platinum award validates our efforts.”
