Exclusive: Vertas Group introduces staff financial wellbeing programme

Vertas Group financial wellbeingFacilities management firm Vertas Group has rolled out a new financial wellbeing programme for its more than 3,000 employees.

Provided by Zellis, Vertas employees will be able to access the programme through PayNow, which is available through the Zellis MyView HR portal through a partnership with financial wellbeing provider Wagestream. According to Vertas, the mobile app is the latest benefit it has added to the broader Vertas Group employee toolkit.

Vertas employees will be able to take advantage of a range of financial wellbeing benefits that include creating a financial cushion by building a savings pot, choosing when they get paid, manage budgeting with an interactive pay slip that updates throughout the month, top-up their income with unclaimed state benefits and access one-to-one coaching to support their financial goals. They can also make savings on mobile phone insurance and discounts at retailers.

They can use the financial tools, which include a benefits checker, free information to build stronger financial habits, and take part in a financial wellbeing quiz to benchmark progress and assess areas to improve.

Kate Innes, chief people officer at Vertas Group, said: “We are always looking at ways we can support our [employees]. MyView PayNow gives financial support and guidance through the easy to use app, our [employees] have the ability to build their own savings fund directly from their pay and can flexibly access their pay. We know this will be a great help to [employees]’ wellbeing.”

Vertas Group offers its employees an annual leave purchase scheme, high street and online discounts through Lifeworks, an employer-funded Medicash health cash plan, support through mental health first aiders, a WeCare 24/7 employee assistance programme that includes remote GP and counselling, an electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme through Tusker, a bikes-for-work scheme, annual Making the Difference awards, refer a friend rewards, a Vertas Finest Recognition scheme and personal development opportunities that include Aspire to Inspire and self-led learning.
