Jens Mathiesen, president and CEO of Scandic Hotels, said: “After a year of pandemic and the changes it has led to in our organisation, this is an important recruitment. Fredrik has solid experience of driving business-related change management and a wide range of skills within HR processes and systems in addition to corporate values across several markets.”

Wetterlundh said he was excited to be joining the Scandic team, and added: “The hospitality industry has been hit hard by the pandemic and it’s now more vital than ever to maintain a strong focus on employees, common structures, and professional development – areas where I can contribute extensive experience.”
