Take part in our latest readers’ poll on a current topical issue. Last week, Employee Benefits reported that footwear brand FitFlop introduced a salary sacrifice nursery scheme for its 165 UK employees in order to help them save money on childcare fees.
The scheme, which is offered in partnership with WorkPlace Nursery, will enable employees to pay for nursery fees through a deduction from their gross pay, which will save on tax and national insurance contributions (NICs). The nurseries will receive additional funds through offset NICs from the employer.
